Murat's Math Window [1994] Xerox photocomposite; orig. abt. 14"x24"; digitized print abt. 8"x10"[1994]. The original exists as a series of layers: Layer 1 - A colored xerox from a photograph of a curcuit board from Scientific American magazine; Layer 2 - 5"X7" photo of the side window on Prince Murat's house, St. George Street, St. Augustine, Florida taken by the artist abt. 1993; Layer 3/4 - black/white xerox transparencies of distribution (per poem or text field) data from the eti-bet study for letter sign frequency as reported in the second print edition of Cabaret Vert Magazine 1992. Exhibited locally at Toronto Small Press Group Fairs. The Search for Life on Mars was sponsored in part by a Venture Grant from the Ontario Arts' Council for which I am grateful. |
