Joan, left and Barbara right on either side of their Mother, Stella, look to be highschool age. What I find interesting about this picture is my Grandmother's pose. Her Mother, my Great Grandmother Harriet Mariah Beasley DeSha nearly always turned the left side of her face in profile to the camera.
