He is the only son and youngest child of Percy L. Thomas, Sr. who was born on August 29 and who had died on July 25, 1959. The funeral for P.L.Thomas Sr was of course held in MSBC and he was buried in the Riverside Memorial Gardens Cemetary on Blanding Boulevard.
