MSBC Bulletins: Clarion Call, June 8, 1952 -- Inside Left On the Occasion of the presentation of Dr. Hansen's portrait. Rev. Thomas Hansen was called to MSBC in 1927 as Associate Pastor to Rev. WL Challoner Mahon and when Mahon died in 1931, Hansen was made Pastor. He remained pastor until January 1950 when he returned to the First Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale, Florida where he had served when called to MSBC.
